Please contact me before making a portrait commission purchase if you have any questions, so we can discuss the portrait style, the photo references, preferred paper (coloured or white) and get to know a little about the story this portrait will tell.

I can draw children, men and women, but prefer just one face per portrait.

If you have several photos to choose from, I can let you know which ones may work best for the portrait. I need a reasonable size and quality of image to produce the detail that I like to include in my portraits.

Please note, this portrait commission is a pencil drawing with no painted elements. The paper size will be A4 but the portrait itself will be smaller, and depending on the composition may fill a small part of the page or most of it.

Once we’ve agreed on the basics, I’ll let you know the anticipated timeframe to complete your portrait. I will require payment before I begin. Once I’ve started the portrait, my time and energy has gone into the piece, and for this reason I can’t offer a refund if you’re not satisfied with the end result, but I will do my very best to ensure I create a piece of work that delights you.
